MEDIA RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Chamber Sets Eyes on 2014 Municipal Election January 31, 2014 – Victoria, BC – The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce is getting to work on the 2014 municipal election with its Our Vibrant Community campaign. The Chamber continues to advocate for Our Vibrant Community policies which include keeping tax increases and spending within our means; building our quality of life and saving for the future; actively communicating municipal business in a clear and understandable fashion; and working individually and with regional stakeholders to deliver services in the most efficient and effective way. In order to promote these policies, the Our Vibrant Community Committee will embrace more direct political involvement to advance these goals.
