Bolen Books is an independent, family-owned bookstore, owned and operated by three generations of Bolen women since 1975. Located in Hillside Centre in Victoria, British Columbia, we have grown from a small 850-square-foot shop into one of Canada's largest independent bookstores, with nearly 20,000 square feet dedicated to new books, gifts, and games.

On our shelves you'll find carefully curated selections across every genre, from literary fiction, mystery, science fiction, manga, and children's books to cookbooks, travel, history, and local interest titles. Beyond books, we also offer a collection of puzzles, games, toys, stationery, and gifts, many of which are sourced locally.
