Sovereign Order of St. John Victoria Commandery Foundation

The Sovereign Order is made up of enthusiastic and influential community contributors and philanthropists who are set on helping others. The Victoria Commandery Foundation has evolved to become a significant funder of services that directly improve the lives of individuals living in poverty and/or with health challenges. Our very active members participate in many aspects of need in Victoria, from collecting coats and towels for shelters. to bagging weekend meals with Backpack Buddies, to contributing to our grant programs that support health and poverty needs. In 2025 we delivered a record year of charitable support distributing a total of $1,420,000. Through disciplined grantmaking, partnerships, and hands-on engagement we helped address food insecurity, housing instability, mental health challenges, and support for seniors and other vulnerable populations. Our modern day Commandery is progressive and visionary, constantly exploring ways in which we can do more to help those in need in our community. We enthusiastically seek partnerships in our goal to aid those most in need.
